Beautiful world. I had fun with all the characters even Monique who was circumstances were her own fault despite what she believed. I did initially stumble over the names, then I realized the ridiculousness of them and began to take them in stride.

I liked how the different characters each had positive strengths. Sophronia, the main character, wasn't the person with all the abilities. Instead she was able to see the positive in those around her and point them out in a way that made them willing to be one of her friends and help her with things.

There were a couple of questions left unanswered, but I figure that is what makes having a sequel so useful.

Overall I gave this book 5 stars out of 5.
