I enjoyed how this book was incredibly fast. Once everything started going it was difficult to put down. Book number 2 spent too much time obsessing over the relationship between Clary and Jace. This book had that element, but I was more interested in what was happening everywhere else within the story. I was grateful there was a lot of other story for the reader to focus on.

In the Mortal Instruments series I have enjoyed this book the most. I will admit I still haven't finished the books, but I did like that this one ended. The stories were tied off and it would be easy if I were so inclined to stop reading here. I will admit to enjoying Ms. Clare's stories enough to continue.

Overall I gave this book 4 stars out of 5.
