Title: Bare Bones (Temperance Brennan #6)
Author: Kathy Reichs
Genre: Mystery
Published: June 1, 2004
Brennan was trying to take time off to go on vacation with Ryan when just one more case for her to work on would show up. Until she had three cases going. Then it turned out her three cases were connected.
This book went a lot faster for me than the last two. I found myself enjoying the human interactions and the mystery more. I think it was because Ryan was in this one for most of the book. I have found him to be my favorite character in this series.
I found it almost exciting that Brennan seemed less stupid in this one. For the most part she listened to the cops around her and really didn't take unnecessary risks, which she had in previous books. I felt as if the danger she ended up in throughout the story wasn't really her fault. I think that made this story a lot less frustrating than the other ones I have read.
Overall I gave this book 4 stars our of 5.
